About Us

King's Elim Church

Are you new to the church or the area? If so, you are very welcome! Please check out our New to Church page which has some helpful information for you.

We are a group of ordinary people who believe that church is a great place to make friends and experience God together. We are a family who believe that church should not only be great fun but also a place where lives are radically transformed.

ABOUT US     OUR VISION

We worship together

Every other Sunday we join together as one voice to worship God and give him praise. We love to sing and celebrate His goodness. We encourage everyone to join in and connect with God wherever they are on their journey of faith. Our time of singing usually lasts for 30 minutes and is followed by teaching from the Bible.

Our vision and values

We serve together

As a church we are committed to serving our local community and beyond. We want to show the love of God in both word and action to everyone around us. If you have ideas for initiatives that will help to reach our community and change people's lives for better, then please contact us and share your ideas.

Planning your Visit

A Warm Hello

Welcome! Whether you've just moved to the area, or have lived here all your life, we hope our website helps you to find out everything you want to know about our Church.  The following information is specifically for those planning a visit, so that you know, beforehand, what to expect on a Sunday afternoon.

Where and When
We meet at Kings Forest Primary School, in Kingswood (details here) for our Sunday Service starting at 3pm. For your first visit, we recommend arriving a few minutes early to ensure you get a parking space and find somewhere to sit before the service begins.

What should I expect when I visit the church?
You will receive a very warm welcome particularly from our Welcome Team who will be able to answer your questions and direct you to where you need to go. There will be approximately 30 mins of singing with opportunity for church members to pray or read a passage from the bible.  After the notices there will be a preach from our Pastor, one of the leaders at the Church or a guest speaker, with a chance to respond at the end of the service.  The structure of our time together is not rigid but we typically finish around 4:15pm

Free tea, coffee and refreshments are served after the service, where everyone is welcome to stay, chat and there is plenty of time to meet new people and ask more questions.

Is the building accessible?
The building is fully accessible, with accessible parking spaces and all activities and facilities, including disabled toilets, are on the ground floor.

Is there a dress code?
No! Please just be yourself and come dressed in your 'normal' clothes.

Will I have to join in?
Not at all! You are free to simply observe or participate as much as feels comfortable for you.

If you would like any further information, please do not hesitate to contact us.
